Install was very simple...45 minutes or less. No cutting involved. You do need to weld on the new exhaust hanger. Aside from that its 100% bold on.

I had it put on at my local shop, but I can look tomorrow morning for you. I thought I read the hanger is welded in, but I do know it bolts in without cutting etc..

Gay how? I have had nothing but positive feedback from friends and people I meet. I think it looks nice and has a decent sound. Your "its gay" comment does not give any reasoning behind your opinion. So how can anyone agree with you? Nobody can see it the way you do. I am not a Chevy man but this truck had everything I was looking for in a truck at the time. I have been fairliy happy with it as well so I can't piss on the bowtie anymore. Its no F350 superduty with a powerstroke, but its nice.

does it resonate or hum inside the cab on the highway like some exhaust systems do that are in front of the tire? that gets really annoying after a long trip

not at all...in the cab its not that loud. You know its not stock by the tone, but nothing annoying. If the doors are open when I turn it on you get that resonating hum, but with the doors closed not at all.
And on the freeway you don't have that RPM sweet spot with the loud drone sound like you would with a flow master....so on long trips you will not have any issues.

alright thats exactly what i was wondering cuz i had a flowmaster on my old truck and hated that hum on the interstate. i love the look of the gibson out the side like that

Cut the cat off. I have the same exhaust system on a 318 and with the cat it sounded about the same "ok". I cut the cat off and HOLY SHIT! It sounds phenomenal!!

@7366DIESEL No I do not at this time. I plan to put the Gibson headers and if I can find one and off-road Y-pipe to eliminate the cats. If there is one made I'm sure summit or Jegs carry it. I've held off on doing the rest of the exhaust only because I am not sure if I am keeping the truck, or if I do keep it I want to build up the engine and supercharge it. So before I spend more money on it I want to figure out where I am headed with this truck.
